Job summary

Build Mac is a growing residential construction company based in Hawke's Bay, specialising in design & build new homes, renovations and bespoke building projects. We are looking for a Project Delivery Manager to join our team and take ownership of the systems, documentation and coordination that keep projects running smoothly.

Working closely with our Director, Site Foreman and clients, you will ensure every project is delivered safely, professionally and to the highest standard, with autonomy

Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction and project coordination preferred.
• Permanent full-time position.
• Company vehicle and laptop provided.
• Autonomy and responsibility in role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction projects from start to handover.
• Manage project documentation, compliance and reporting.
• Prepare start-up and handover documentation.
• Develop and maintain health, safety and quality systems.
• Coordinate client communication and weekly updates.
• Support project programming, timelines and site delivery.
• Improve our systems and processes with site and office teams.

Build Mac is a growing residential construction company based in Hawke's Bay, specialising in design & build new homes, renovations and bespoke building projects. We are also the approved Clever Living Co. builders for Hawke's Bay. We're looking for a Project Delivery Manager to join our team and take ownership of the systems, documentation and coordination that keep our projects running smoothly. Working closely with our Director, Site Foreman, office team and clients, you'll play a key role in ensuring every project is delivered safely, professionally and to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinating construction projects from commencement through to handover
• Managing project documentation, compliance and reporting
• Preparing project start-up and handover documentation
• Developing and maintaining health & safety and quality assurance systems
• Coordinating client communication and weekly project updates
• Supporting project programming, timelines and site delivery
• Working closely with our site and office teams to continually improve our systems and processes

About you

• Highly organised, proactive and enjoy creating systems that make projects run efficiently
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to build great relationships with clients and the wider team
• Experience in residential construction, project management, project coordination or contract administration is preferred
• Experience with construction management software is an advantage, but training will be provided to the right person
