Job summary

Octa Associates in Christchurch is seeking a Project Manager with 2+ years of experience to join our Christchurch branch and deliver meaningful projects across New Zealand. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in building or construction, plus demonstrable project management experience in a consultancy setting.

You will contribute to a range of challenging commercial construction projects, bring a proactive and self-driven approach, and use MS Office and MS Project to manage

• 2+ years of experience delivering vertical commercial construction projects.
• NZ experience and consultancy environment preferred.
• Proactive, self-driven approach with ability to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Strong written, verbal communication and numerical skills.
• Strong consultant-side project management experience is essential.

Octa Associates Ltd is a leading nationwide consultancy providing independent project management services across a wide range of sectors. We are seeking a Project Manager with 2+ years’ experience to join our Christchurch branch.

Ideal Candidate

• Relevant tertiary qualification in the building or construction industry.
• At least 2+ years' New Zealand experience delivering vertical commercial construction projects, ideally with proven project management experience in a consultancy environment.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in building, construction, engineering, or a related field.
• A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Excellent written, verbal, communication, and numerical skills.
• Strong computer literacy, including the MS Office Suite and MS Project.
• Adaptable, proactive, and keen to learn new skills to solve complex project challenges.
• Strong prior consultant-side project management experience is essential
