Job summary

Brian Perry Civil, part of VINCI Construction, seeks an experienced Project Manager to own civil infrastructure delivery from planning to completion. Based in Hamilton or Tauranga with travel to sites as required, you will lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure safety, budget, and programme success.

You bring 10+ years of delivery experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and a proven track record with Tier 1 contractors.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years' experience delivering complex civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience in three waters, water, wastewater or concrete structures projects.
• Proven success delivering projects for a Tier 1 or major civil contractor.
• Well-developed commercial and contractual management capability.
• Excellent written communication skills, including formal reporting.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing others.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of large-scale civil infrastructure projects.

• Lead project engineers, supervisors and site teams.

About The Role

In this role you'll take ownership of project delivery from planning through to completion, ensuring strong safety, commercial, programme and client outcomes. This role is suited to an experienced Project Manager who enjoys leading people, managing risk, and delivering technically challenging civil works.

This role can be based in Hamilton or Tauranga, with travel and periods working away from home required depending on project location.

• Leading the delivery of large-scale civil infrastructure projects
• Managing project budgets, forecasts, contracts and commercial outcomes
• Building and maintaining strong client, consultant and stakeholder relationships
• Leading and developing project engineers, supervisors and site teams
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements
• Managing project reporting, contractual notifications and project documentation

What You’ll Bring
