Job summary

Brian Perry Civil are seeking an experienced Trenchless Rehabilitation Technician to deliver complex pipeline renewal projects across New Zealand. You will install, operate and optimise trenchless systems, including CIPP liners, CCTV inspection and robotic tooling, while ensuring safety, quality and compliance across worksites.

The role involves field troubleshooting, equipment maintenance and collaboration with site crews to achieve successful project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience installing CIPP lining systems.
  • Experience operating CCTV inspection equipment.
  • Experience using robotic cutting, grinding or reinstatement technology.
  • Strong mechanical and fault-finding capability.
  • Experience working in confined spaces and construction environments.
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.
  • Certificate III in Trenchless Technology or equivalent (beneficial).
  • Drainage, plumbing or civil construction trade background.
  • Spiral wound rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

  • Install, operate and optimise trenchless rehabilitation systems across projects.
  • Conduct CCTV inspections and condition assessments.
  • Measure and prepare pipelines for rehabilitation works.
  • Operate robotic CCTV, cutting and reinstatement equipment.
  • Install and cure CIPP liners.
  • Support spiral wound and cast-in-place rehabilitation systems.
  • Reinstate service connections after liner installation.
  • Troubleshoot installation issues in the field.
  • Maintain rehabilitation equipment and tooling.
  • Provide technical guidance to site crews.
  • Complete quality assurance and project documentation.
  • Assist with testing, commissioning and post-installation inspections.

Brian Perry Civil's is looking for an experienced Trenchless Rehabilitation Technician to deliver complex pipeline renewal projects across New Zealand.

Working with advanced trenchless technologies, you'll play a critical role rehabilitating wastewater, stormwater and other essential underground assets without the need for disruptive excavation.

This is a rare opportunity for a specialist with experience in CIPP lining, spiral wound systems, robotic cutting technology or pipeline rehabilitation to join a growing team delivering innovative infrastructure solutions.

What you’ll be doing

As a technical specialist, you'll be responsible for the installation, operation and optimisation of trenchless rehabilitation systems across a range of projects.

  • Conducting CCTV inspections and condition assessments
  • Measuring and preparing pipelines for rehabilitation works
