Job summary

Brian Perry Civil is seeking a Project Quality Manager to lead quality activities on a major bridges and roads project in Ashburton. This fixed-term role runs through December 2027 and offers the chance to own quality outcomes across the full project lifecycle.

You will ensure quality systems, documentation, audits and handover requirements meet high standards while collaborating with project teams, subcontractors and the client.

Qualifications

• A Civil Engineering qualification, quality management qualification or equivalent industry experience.
• Previous experience in a Quality Manager, Quality Engineer or similar quality assurance role on civil or infrastructure projects.
• Working knowledge of NZTA and large-scale infrastructure project requirements.
• Experience managing quality processes across the full project lifecycle, from establishment through to handover and completion.
• Strong understanding of quality documentation, inspection and test plans (ITPs), audits, compliance and document management systems such as Procore.
• A proactive approach with the ability to investigate issues, gather information independently and keep quality deliverables moving.

About The Role

We're looking for a Project Quality Manager to lead all quality activities on a major bridges and roads project in Ashburton. This is a fixed-term opportunity through to December 2027, giving you the chance to take ownership of quality outcomes across the full project lifecycle. You'll be responsible for ensuring quality systems, documentation, audits, inspections and handover requirements are delivered to a high standard while working closely with project teams, subcontractors and the client.

Working closely with project teams, subcontractors and the client, you'll play a key role in keeping quality systems practical, proactive and aligned with project delivery. While you'll provide leadership and guidance across the project, this is very much a role for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and getting into the detail.

• Develop, implement and maintain the project's quality management systems and plans

• Coordinate quality requirements and deliverables across subcontractors, suppliers and project teams
