Foodstuffs North Island is seeking a commercially focused Senior Financial Analyst to support the integration of Gilmours South Island into our systems and ways of working. You will own project financial reporting, forecasting, cost control and benefits tracking, partnering with the project team and Wholesale/Finance leads.

This hands-on role requires strong financial modelling, Excel, and stakeholder management skills to drive robust financial controls and deliver long-term business value for

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• Experience supporting projects, programmes, or business change initiatives.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical, and numerical skills with advanced Excel.
• Ability to turn data into commercial insight and robust financial controls.

Responsabilités

• Own and maintain project financial models, budgets, forecasts and actuals across the delivery lifecycle.
• Track operating and capital expenditure, commitments, invoices, accruals and purchase orders.
• Complete monthly project close activities and reconcile results across Finance systems and project records.
• Prepare rolling forecasts and scenario analysis to assess financial impact of scope changes.
• Identify financial risks, opportunities and variances with project owners to decide actions.
• Maintain the project benefits register and track benefits across revenue, margin, cost, working capital and productivity.
• Prepare clear, concise reporting for project governance, Wholesale leadership and Finance.
