Job summary
Stantec is seeking a Project Delivery Lead in Hastings, NZ to build trusted client relationships and lead multi-disciplinary delivery across water, transport and community development projects. You will work with local team leads to ensure capability, mentor staff, forecast workloads, and keep the council informed of risks and progress.
The role emphasises collaboration, quality outcomes on time and within budget, and active involvement in proposals to win new work.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years' experience in Engineering or Project Management with client relationship development and delivery skills.
Responsibilities
- Build long-term relationships with Hastings District Council and stakeholders.
- Coordinate across water, transport and community development projects.
- Ensure team has skills and experience for current and future projects.
- Develop and mentor staff in delivery processes and procedures.
- Assist leads with workload forecasting and resource planning.
- Provide updates to Hastings District Council on delivery risks and program status.
- Lead project management or design-manager capacity to meet client expectations.
- Contribute to proposals and bid development for business growth.
