Job summary

Stantec in Hastings, New Zealand, is seeking a Project Delivery Lead to join our Water, Transport and Community Development teams. The role focuses on building trusted client relationships, aligning delivery standards across centres, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

You will mentor staff, forecast workloads, lead project managers, and contribute to proposals to support business development.

Qualifications

At least 10 years' experience in Engineering or Project Management with strong client relationship development and project delivery skills.

Responsibilities

Build long term collaborative relationships with Stantec and Hastings District Council.
Coordinate delivery standards across Water, Transport and Community Development projects.
Ensure the team has appropriate skills and experience for current/future projects.
Develop and mentor staff in key delivery processes and procedures.
Assist team leads with workload forecasting and resource planning.
Provide updates to Hastings District Council and project managers on delivery risks and status.
Lead project manager or design manager capacity to meet client expectations.
Contribute to proposal and bid development to support business development.
