Job summary

Omexom New Zealand in Dunedin is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to coordinate work schedules, operations and processes for the contract team, driving efficient delivery and real impact.

You will support contract delivery with planning, procurement, and governance, liaising with Project Managers, design and technical teams, customers and subcontractors while ensuring safety, quality and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong administration and scheduling experience in field-based operations.
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.
• Good communication with customers, crews and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of electrical construction or maintenance environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support contract delivery through administration, planning, and coordination with Project Managers, Design, Technical teams, Customers, and Subcontractors.
• Assist the Project/Contract Managers with day-to-day contract management and procedures.
• Coordinate work schedules, monitor productivity, and prepare reports, presentations, and documentation.
• Manage procurement, purchasing, logistics, and contract documentation, QA and financial matters including variations and labour targets.
• Oversee site inductions, safety, environmental and quality procedures and manage contract risks/issues.
• Maintain governance documentation and ensure alignment with client and company requirements.
