Job summary

Ministry of Justice (New Zealand) is seeking a permanent, full-time Project Coordinator to support Delivery of Productivity and Collaboration Services. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting and governance across digital projects, working with project managers and senior leaders in a large, complex organisation.

You will be a proactive team member with strong planning, scheduling and relationship-building skills, contributing to successful delivery within the Shared Services team.

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination within a fast-paced delivery environment.
• Experience with financial systems, budgeting processes and financial reporting.
• Customer-focused support with proactive service orientation.
• Ability to work within large, complex and evolving organizational environments.
• PRINCE2 qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Financial management of projects through budgeting, forecasting, invoicing.
• Assist in the preparation of governance and project documentation.
• Assist with project scheduling and wider planning activities.
• Contribute to project issue/risk management process.
• Build and maintain effective relationships across digital and within the team.
