Jora New Zealand is seeking a proactive planner/coordinator to support senior leadership in planning and delivering niche nationwide projects. You will work closely with the Managing Director in a small, specialist team to keep projects organised and on track.

  • Are comfortable being proactive, following things up and escalating issues when needed
  • Like having your own projects to run with, rather than doing the same thing every day
  • Are genuinely interested in working with a small team on niche projects
  • Have a sound geographical knowledge of New Zealand

About the Role | Mō te Tūranga

Interested in working on niche nationwide projects? You'll support senior leadership and work closely alongside the Managing Director in planning and delivering successful projects, working within a small, specialist team.

This isn’t a role where you’ll simply be ticking off a list of admin tasks. You’ll have your own projects and responsibilities to run with, while supporting the wider team to keep projects organised, accurate and on track.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Co-ordinating relevant materials, from forms to public notices to reports
  • Maintaining and checking data using Access and Excel
  • Processing responses using dedicated management software
  • Quality checking documents, data and materials before release
  • Liaising directly with clients and (at times) the public
  • Take full ownership of your work, seeing tasks through to completion
  • Apply rigorous attention to detail when checking documents and materials
  • Communicate professionally and maintain a neutral stance with all stakeholders
  • Stay flexible and resilient, taking on extra tasks when workloads increase
  • Enjoy working with systems and technology, and are confident picking up new software and processes as you go
  • Are comfortable being proactive, following things up and escalating issues when needed
  • Like having your own projects to run with, rather than doing the same thing every day
  • Are genuinely interested in working with a small team on niche projects
  • Have a sound geographical knowledge of New Zealand
