Medical Assurance Society NZ in Wellington is seeking a Programme Training Lead to guide learning behind the Nexus Transformation Programme. This 12-month fixed-term role focuses on designing and delivering engaging learning that builds confidence, capability and adoption across the business.
You will partner with Change Managers, Delivery teams and SMEs to create practical, role-based training and a train-the-trainer network, delivering sessions both virtually and in person.

At MAS, we're investing in the future of our business through the Nexus Programme, introducing new technology and ways of working that will transform how we support our Members. We're looking for an experienced Programme Training Lead (on a 12 month fixed term basis) to help bring that change to life by designing and delivering engaging learning experiences that build confidence, capability and adoption across the business.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact as part of a significant business transformation while working alongside change, delivery, technology and business teams.
Developing and delivering a comprehensive training strategy aligned to programme milestones and business readiness needs
Designing practical, role-based training for new systems and processes
Creating engaging learning materials, including workshops, job aids, e-learning and quick reference guides
Facilitating training sessions across the organisation, both virtually and in person
Establishing and supporting a train-the-trainer and champion network
Partnering with business leaders, SMEs, Change Managers and Delivery teams to support successful adoption
Monitoring training effectiveness and continuously improving learning solutions based on feedback and outcomes
Extensive experience delivering training for system implementations, transformation programmes or large-scale business change initiatives
Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience designing learning solutions using a variety of formats and tools
A solid understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
The ability to translate complex system changes into practical, user-friendly learning experiences
Experience working within insurance, financial services or similar regulated environments would be highly regarded
Exposure to platforms such as Duck Creek, Smart COMM, CRM or policy administration systems is an advantage
