Job description

Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey.

With over 20 years’ experience, Boundaryline are market leaders in the New Zealand residential & commercial fencing industry with an innovative portfolio of brands. With its roots in Invercargill, and branches in Auckland and Christchurch, Boundaryline is afast-moving, forward-thinking company, committed to making fencing easy.

Why Boundaryline?

As a family owned and operated business, we recognise that we could not do what we do without our amazing team. You will join a team with an established culture, which is driven from the top.

Some of the benefits of joining the Boundaryline team include:

  • Competitive remuneration
  • Product training and professional development
  • A Company-wide discretionary bonus scheme (because together we win)
  • Strong company values, which are celebrated daily
  • Regular wellness initiatives and team events
  • Free doctor’s visits and flu vaccinations
  • A great team culture – our people are at the heart of all that we do

About the role

We are seeking a practical leader to run our fabrication team and enjoys being involved on the workshop floor. No two days are the same - you will coordinate daily production, support fabricators when required, maintain quality standards, assist with continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure jobs are scheduled and completed on time.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the successful candidate will lead by example, respectful communication, polished organisational skills, and be willing to get hands-on when the team needs support

What we are looking for

A professional team member who is proud of creating high quality work and;

  • Shares our values – right thing right now, together we win, seize the opportunity and dig deep when it matters
  • Enjoys manual tasks in a hands‑on role
  • Reflects diligence in your work life including time bound environments
  • Practices attention to detail with the ability to undertake quality checks and complete work orders

About you

As our ideal leader for this role, you will have:

  • A confident and approachable leader who can motivate and develop a team.
  • Hands‑on and willing to get involved rather than simply supervise from the sidelines.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities.
  • A strong communicator who can work effectively with people at all levels.
  • Calm and practical when dealing with pressure or unexpected production issues.
  • Accountable and committed to achieving high standards.
  • Safety‑conscious and quality‑focused.
  • Positive about change, continuous improvement, and Lean principles.
  • A team player who is prepared to roll up their sleeves and help wherever needed.
