Winstone Wallboards, a leading New Zealand manufacturer, is seeking a Mechanical Team Leader at the Tauriko plant. You will lead the maintenance trades team, ensuring preventative and reactive maintenance is delivered safely and efficiently while driving reliability across high-volume operations.
The role is hands-on with about half your time on the tools and half coordinating work, prioritising activities, and supporting the team to improve equipment performance.

About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll provide frontline leadership to our Mechanical maintenance trades team, ensuring preventative, planned and reactive maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard across the site. This is a hands‑on leadership role, with approximately 50% of your time spent on the tools and 50% coordinating work, supporting the team and driving plant reliability. You'll play a key role in prioritising maintenance activities, improving equipment performance and fostering a strong safety and continuous improvement culture.
