Job summary

Roofing Industries is seeking a hands-on factory leader to run our Auckland North Harbour site, taking full ownership of a busy manufacturing operation. You will oversee production, lead the team and ensure orders are produced on time, to standard and with accuracy.

You will plan schedules, develop your people, drive health and safety on site, manage maintenance, and monitor output, efficiency and waste to keep the factory running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Factory or manufacturing management experience required.
• Proven people leadership — managing a production team.
• Production planning and scheduling experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act.
• Machinery maintenance and asset management knowledge advantageous.
• ERP/MRP system experience is essential.
• A trade or engineering qualification would be an advantage.
• Lean Manufacturing experience a plus.

About the role

This is your factory to run — production, people and performance.

Lead our Auckland factory at North Harbour and take full ownership of a busy manufacturing site.

You’ll run production, lead the team and keep customer orders going out accurately, on time and to standard.
