Job summary

Hynds Pipe Systems Limited is seeking a Procurement & Supply Specialist to manage purchasing and inventory, ensuring stock moves efficiently to meet customer needs. Thishands-on role involves raising orders, chasing ETAs and resolving supply hiccups across multiple locations.

You’ll work with vendor teams, inventory planning, operations and branches to maintain accurate systems and strong supplier performance, while applying attention to detail and a collaborative, results-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in a purchasing/planning or supply management role.
• Ability to pull reports and spot trends in data.
• Very high attention to detail with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across teams.
• Good judgement, discretion and commercial awareness.
• Collaborative and self-motivated with a results-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Place accurate, well-timed purchase orders and keep stock flowing.
• Chase ETAs, manage supply hiccups and find substitutes when needed.
• Manage inventory across locations and rebalance stock as required.
• Collaborate with overseas vendors on forecasting, logistics and performance.
• Keep branches and customers updated; contribute to S&OP, stocktakes and reconciliations.
