Job summary

New Zealand Post is seeking a Processing Officer / Forklift Operator to join our Kaiwharawhara team. You will sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight, using a forklift with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role runs Monday to Friday from 2pm to 8pm, contributing to reliable parcel delivery across New Zealand. We offer a supportive, team-driven environment with opportunities for development, and benefits such as discounted health plans and wellness resources.

Qualifications

• Be available to work Monday to Friday 2pm - 8pm.
• F endorsement or OSH certificate and forklift experience.
• Good computer skills (email, MS Office and other reporting).

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Our Processing Officers create the magic by sorting, consolidating and dispatching parcels and freight at our Kaiwharawhara branch, ready for our couriers to deliver. You'll be using a forklift in this role, so you'll be a competent, experienced and safety conscious forklift operator. We're a lively bunch, with a diverse set of skills, but we all share one common goal - to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our beautiful Aotearoa.
