Job summary

New Zealand Post is recruiting a Processing Officer for our Hawke’s Bay site in Tomoana Road. You will sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels, operating a forklift for up to 6 hours per shift.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift in a dynamic warehouse environment.
• Comfortable lifting up to 25 kg and maintaining safety standards.
• Good geographical knowledge of Hawke's Bay region is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels at the Hawke’s Bay site.
• Operate forklift for up to 6 hours per shift.
• Maintain health and safety standards and a clean work area.
• Support daily processing and ensure accurate handling of parcels.

Our Processing Officers create the magic by sorting, consolidating and dispatching parcels and freight atour brand new, purpose built Hawkes Bay Operations site in Tomoana Road, ready for our couriers to deliver.We're a lively bunch, with a diverse set of skills, but we all share one common goal - to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our beautiful Aotearoa.This role will see you driving a forklift for up to 6 hours per shift, so experience, professionalism and a focus on health and safety is a must.
