Job summary

NZ Post in Whakatane is seeking Processing Officers to sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight for our courier team. You’ll join a lively site that values safety, teamwork and steady growth at a government-owned agency.

The role requires early morning availability Tuesday to Saturday 03:30–08:30, a sharp eye for detail and good geographical knowledge. You should be able to lift up to 25 kg and work as part of a committed team.

Qualifications

• Eye for detail and ability to read maps or routing information.
• Good geographical knowledge of local areas.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight at Whakatane branch.
• Be available to work Tuesday to Saturday 03:30am–08:30am and maintain site safety.
