Job summary

One NZ is seeking a Process Improvement Lead to transform how work gets done across the business. You will identify, design, and optimise future-state processes using a blend of human expertise, automation, AI-enabled tools, and modern workflow design.

You will champion process management frameworks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, coach stakeholders, and help unlock value at scale. This role offers flexible hybrid work and health benefits.

  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and build alignment across teams and functions.
  • Promote a continuous improvement culture through training and coaching.
  • Work autonomously to deliver assigned improvement initiatives and outcomes.

The Process Improvement Lead plays a critical role in transforming how work gets done across One NZ. You'll identify, design, and optimise future-state processes that simplify work, remove waste, and unlock value through a combination of human expertise, automation, AI-enabled tools, digital agents, and modern workflow design.

You will champion, develop, and deploy process management frameworks, improvement methodologies, and process tools that enable simple, visible, accurate, and future-ready processes at scale.

  • Identify, prioritise, implement and realise benefits from process improvement initiatives, including as part of a squad.
  • Identify opportunities for AI, automation and digital tools to simplify work and improve quality and outcomes.
  • Create and continuously improve standardised process assets.
  • Analyse cross-functional processes and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and build alignment across teams and functions.
  • Promote a continuous improvement culture through training and coaching.
  • Work autonomously to deliver assigned improvement initiatives and outcomes.
Na tōu rourou - what you’ll bring
  • Extensive experience in process modelling, process frameworks, methods and tools.
  • Strong critical and strategic thinking, with sound judgement and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Strong change and stakeholder management capability as well as planning, prioritisation and delivery skills.
  • Curiosity and practical confidence with AI, automation and digital tools and their application to business, service and process outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex business problems for all levels of stakeholders.
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or similar qualification would be beneficial.
  • TM Forum Framework Practitioner or similar process management framework qualification would be beneficial
  • Experience using Salesforce Comms Cloud would be beneficial
