Job summary

Vodafone New Zealand Limited in New Zealand is seeking a solutions consultant to help Enterprise and Public Sector customers unlock the value of their Contact Centre investments. You will design tailored solutions across AWS, Genesys and connected business applications, translating customer needs into practical, commercially sound outcomes that support business success and drive innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience in solution design, consultancy or technical pre-sales.
• Strong commercial acumen including pricing and scoping of professional services.
• Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and explain complex ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultancy and solution design for Contact Centre platforms and services.
• Translate customer requirements into tailored technical solutions and practical workflows.
• Support pre-sales activity, including solution scoping, presentations and proposal development.
• Lead or support the design and documentation of solutions, including integrations and workflows.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across customer accounts, vendors and internal teams.
• Work closely with Sales and Account Managers to keep opportunities, pipeline and Salesforce information accurate.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, commercially viable and ready to transition into delivery and managed services.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of offerings, best practice and customer relationships.

As a Solutions Consultant, you will play a key role in helping Enterprise and Public Sector customers unlock the full value of their Contact Centre investments. Working as a trusted advisor, you will design and shape tailored solutions across AWS, Genesys and connected business applications, translating customer needs into practical, commercially sound outcomes that support business success and drive innovation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a curious, commercially minded solutions professional who enjoys working closely with customers, architects, engineers and vendors to solve complex challenges. You will combine strong solution design capability with pre-sales involvement, customer relationship building and a clear understanding of how One NZ delivers value, helping to grow customer relationships while ensuring solutions are viable, valuable and aligned to business goals.

• Strong understanding of Contact Centre technologies and SaaS operating models
• Experience in solution design, consultancy or technical pre-sales
• Commercial acumen, including pricing, profitability and professional services scoping
• Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and explain complex ideas clearly
• Strong problem-solving, adaptability and decision-making skills
• Experience with AWS, Genesys or similar platforms is highly desirable
• Understanding of integration patterns and enterprise IT environments
• Awareness of how sales, delivery, project management and managed services work together
