Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Solution Architect to join our Managed Operations – Modern Platforms capability team. You will design and deliver transformative IT solutions across a wide customer base, focused on modernising and optimising IT environments.

You will lead presales workshops, produce SOWs and ROMs, design enterprise backup/storage/infrastructure/middleware platforms, and mentor engineers while pursuing new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading presales workshops and customer consultations to shape technical solutions aligned to business outcomes.
• Producing Statements of Work (SOWs), proposals, and ROM documents that are commercially sound and technically robust.
• Building and presenting solution designs for Datacom’s Managed Operations products and services, including enterprise backup, storage, infrastructure, and middleware platforms.
• Leading solutioning and pricing elements for bids and RFP responses across multi-service line opportunities.
• Partnering with delivery and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of designed solutions.
• Engaging with vendors to secure best pricing, build strong partnerships, and keep ahead of evolving technologies.
• Mentoring and supporting architects and engineers in their technical growth, while identifying new business opportunities and service improvements.
