Job summary

NorthCare Medical Centre in Hamilton is seeking an experienced NZ Registered Practice Nurse to join our friendly multidisciplinary team at the Pukete Road clinic. You will deliver immunisations, cervical screening, chronic condition management, acute triage, health assessments and preventive care, while building meaningful relationships with patients and whānau in our community.

You will work closely with a supportive team and contribute to ongoing professional development and excellent patient

Qualifications

• Registered NZ Practice Nurse with current APC.
• Solid experience in primary health care.
• Clinically confident with high standards of care.
• Able to work independently while being a strong team player.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide immunisations and cervical screening.
• Manage chronic conditions including diabetes and asthma.
• Handle acute presentations and clinical triage.
• Conduct health assessments and preventive care.

We are looking for an experiencedNZ Registered Practice Nurseto join our friendly and supportive at NorthCare Pukete Road. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse who enjoys the variety of primary care, values continuity of care, and wants to make a genuine difference for patients and whānau in our community.

You will work closely with our wider multidisciplinary team, using your experience, sharing your knowledge and continuing to develop your expertise. No two days are the same in primary care, and you will have the opportunity to use your broad range of nursing skills across:

• Immunisations and cervical screening
• Chronic condition management, including diabetes and asthma
• Acute presentations and clinical triage
• Health assessments, education and preventative care
• Supporting patients and whānau to achieve better health outcomes

Ideally you will:

• Hold a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
• Have solid experience in primary health care
• Be clinically confident and committed to maintaining high standards of care
• Be comfortable working independently while being a strong team player
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
