Job summary

Douglas is seeking a senior PMO leader in New Zealand for a 15-month fixed-term role, with options for full-time or part-time hours (minimum 24 per week). You will own portfolio governance, run PMO tools like Smartsheet and Power BI, and deliver AI-enabled improvements across a multi-stream project portfolio.

Reporting to the CTO, you will guide senior leadership with dashboards, governance frameworks and delivery health checks, while coaching a team of project managers and coordinators and

Qualifications

PMP/PRINCE2/MSP or equivalent certification and a related degree.
Experience in GMP environments and capital project delivery (C&Q, IQ/OQ/PQ, CSV) a plus.
Proven track record owning and optimising enterprise portfolio tools.

Responsibilities

Own portfolio governance and project lifecycle: intake, business case, tiering, prioritisation, gates, close-out and benefits.
Run PMO systems (Smartsheet, Power BI) and develop AI use cases for the PMO team.
Develop portfolio dashboards and reporting for Steering Committees and senior leaders.
