Job summary

Douglas Pharmaceuticals Ltd is seeking a PMO Lead for a 15-month fixed-term role in Auckland. The role can be full time or part time with a minimum of 24 hours per week. You will own portfolio governance, run PMO systems, and develop dashboards for senior leadership while coaching a team.

You will collaborate across Engineering, Digital, Quality, Validation, Operations, Supply Chain, Regulatory and Finance to optimise delivery and drive maturity in PMO practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive project, programme or PMO roles with coaching or leadership experience.
• PM certifications (PMP/PRINCE2/MSP) or equivalent; engineering/science/IT degree preferred.
• GMP environments and capital project delivery knowledge beneficial.
• Experience owning and optimising portfolio tools; Smartsheet preferred.
• Governance frameworks that are actually used; training or accreditation experience.
• Hands-on delivery of complex cross-functional projects to time and budget.
• Strong communication and influence with senior stakeholders.
• Proven capability building project management through training or coaching.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio governance and project lifecycle from intake to benefits realisation.
• Run PMO systems (Smartsheet, Power BI) and develop AI use cases for PMO processes.
• Develop dashboards and reporting for Steering Committees and senior leadership.
• Keep project data current and trusted across a large, multi-stream portfolio.
• Lead PMO maturity efforts, including assessments and health checks.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Digital, Quality, Validation, Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Regulatory and Finance to align priorities.
• Improve tools, processes and systems across the lifecycle.
• Lead complex projects end-to-end when needed and mentor the PMO team.
