Job summary

Omexom New Zealand in Auckland is seeking a Planner to drive distribution network planning, scheduling, and invoicing. You will work closely with Contract/Project Managers and Technical Coordinators to keep jobs moving safely, on time and to spec.

The role focuses on compiling job packs, submitting documentation, and ensuring quality through QA and invoicing within SLAs. Based in Albany, a traditional Monday–Friday, 40+ hour week with career development awaits.

Qualifications

  • Solid project administration experience, ideally in the electrical industry.
  • High level of computer skills required.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and data handling.
  • Demonstrates strong collaboration skills within team settings.
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Compiling job packs for Distribution Network Services, work to meet all company, client, and statutory requirements.
  • Assisting the Contract Manager/Project Manager in preparing quality job management plans, documentation, and job communication.
  • Planning and scheduling all resources required to execute jobs in collaboration with the Contract/Project Manager and Technical Coordinators.
  • Ordering materials and booking subcontractors to ensure availability to meet the work schedule.
  • Collating quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Preparing subcontractor agreements in conjunction with the Contract/Project Manager.
  • Preparing and submitting any additional documentation required for a job to proceed.
  • Carrying out quality assurance and invoicing of completed job packs according to SLAs and timetables.
  • Ensuring the company's and site procedures for safety, environment, and quality performance are implemented and maintained.

About the Role

Make an impact where it counts. As a Planner in our Distribution Network Services Business Unit, you'll be at the centre of planning, scheduling, and invoicing Network Services work - keeping jobs moving safely, on time, and to spec while working closely with the Contract/Project Manager and Technical Coordinators.
