The Network Development Engineer plays an important role in shaping the future of Wellington Electricity's network.
Working within our Asset Planning team, you'll be responsible for helping plan, develop and optimise the electricity network to support future growth, improve reliability, and ensure customers continue to receive a safe and resilient electricity supply.
This role combines strategic planning with technical analysis, giving you the opportunity to influence major network investment decisions, assess emerging technologies and customer connections, and contribute to the long-term development of Wellington's electricity infrastructure. You'll work closely with a range of internal stakeholders and industry partners, helping balance engineering, regulatory, commercial and customer requirements to deliver the best outcomes for our network and community
