Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Hamilton is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our maintenance team. You will work with plumbers, HVAC technicians and the building maintenance crew to keep client facilities running at a high standard.

You’ll perform electrical testing, reactive maintenance and minor projects, with a focus on health and safety and value for our clients across commercial sites in the Waikato region. A full, clean driver’s license and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of electrical testing.
• Commercial maintenance experience desirable.
• Solid Health & Safety understanding.

About the role:

You will be working as part of a team, comprised of Plumbers, Electricians, HVAC Technicians and our Building Maintenance crew, ensuring our clients' facilities are maintained to a high level. Workload will consist of a combination of reactive maintenance and minor project work, but also assisting with Planned Preventive Maintenance works.

• Good knowledge of electrical testing.
• Commercial maintenance experience is highly desirable.

• 44 hours per week.

Health & Safety is a priority for Cushman & Wakefield and the successful candidate will be expected to have a good understanding of the H&S requirements and behaviours in commercial environment. Good personal presentation and customer service skills are also essential, as is a clean full driver's license.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a drug test, complete a Pre-employment Health Questionnaire and MOJ check. A criminal conviction review is also a requirement of the role.
