Kirimana is a New Zealand-owned recruitment company seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to own a permanent recruitment portfolio from our Auckland office.

You’ll work with clients from specialist contractors to national businesses, recruiting professional, technical and management-level roles across New Zealand. Success hinges on market knowledge, relationships and proactive sourcing, with uncapped commission and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Previous permanent recruitment experience is preferred, particularly across construction.
• Ability to build long-term client and candidate relationships.
• Strong market knowledge and proactive search skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage permanent recruitment assignments from briefing through interview, offer, and placement.
• Proactively identify and engage high-quality passive candidates via direct sourcing and networking.
• Develop new business through client meetings, calls, and recruitment opportunities.
• Build deep knowledge of specialist sectors, including employers, projects, salaries and market conditions.
• Own your portfolio, pipeline, revenue and service quality for clients and candidates.
