Qualifications

• 3+ years' HR/People Experience in New Zealand
• Employment relations experience and knowledge of New Zealand employment law
• Experience using HRIS systems, preferably Workday
• Excellent communication, sound judgement and a practical, solutions-focused approach
• Independent worker with strong stakeholder relationships
• Resilience, discretion handling sensitive matters
• Willingness to travel within New Zealand

Company: Sime Darby Motor Group (NZ) Ltd. People Experience (PX) Advisor - Fixed Term | 12-month Parental Leave Cover

We are looking for an experienced and trusted People (PX) Advisor to join our dedicated Sime Motors PX team, primarily based in Mt Wellington, Auckland. This role will also require occasional travel throughout New Zealand. This 12-month fixed-term parental leave cover role offers the chance to join a collaborative and high-performing People Experience team, supporting leaders and employees across a diverse national business. You'll provide trusted advice on a wide range of people matters, including employment relations, performance, recruitment and employee development, while also contributing to broader PX initiatives and projects. With plenty of variety, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, solving problems and driving positive people outcomes.

About the Role

This role offers a high level of autonomy, and you'll be responsible for:

About You

• 3+ years' HR/People Experience in New Zealand, ideally in a generalist advisory environment
• Proven employment relations experience and a strong understanding of New Zealand employment legislation
• Experience using HRIS systems, preferably Workday
