Job summary

MOVe Logistics is seeking a capable People & Culture Advisor to provide practical people support and guidance across HR activities, primarily at our Wiri Support Office, with occasional travel to other Auckland sites.

You will partner with leaders and employees, handling employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance processes and day-to-day HR advice while developing skills through exposure to a wide range of HR initiatives and projects.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 2 years' experience in an HR Coordinator role, or 1-2 years' experience in a generalist HR or Employee Relations focused role.
  • Sound understanding of New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line advice and support to leaders and employees on people policies, procedures and employment matters.
  • Guide and support managers with employee relations activities including investigations, disciplinary processes, performance management and attendance issues.
  • Support recruitment activities, including job advertising, interviews, reference checking and onboarding.
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee lifecycle processes including variations, promotions, transfers and exits.
  • Support leaders with performance and development conversations.
  • Assist with implementation of People & Culture initiatives and projects.
  • Maintain employment documentation and employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance the employee and leader experience.
  • Support engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives across the business.
  • Ensure compliance with New Zealand employment legislation, company policies and best practice HR processes.

This role is idealfor someone looking to move into an advisory position after gaining experiencein a Human Resources Coordinator role, or for someone with 1-2 years ofgeneralist HR who is keen to continue building their career or an experiencedAdvisor or Senior Advisor seeking a hands-on role within a dynamic operationalenvironment.

Depending on the experience andcapability of the successful candidate, the scope and level of responsibilitymay be tailored accordingly.

You'll parter with leaders acrossa diverse operational workforce, providing practical people advice and supportacross a broad range of employee relations, recruitment, performance managementand organisational initiatives.

About the Role

As a People & Culture Advisor,you'll work closely with leaders and employees to provide practical peoplesupport and guidance across a broad range of HR activities.
