Job summary

Sime Darby Transport (NZ) Ltd at our Wiri Distribution Centre is hiring a Distribution Store Person to receive, store and dispatch stock with accuracy. You will pick, pack and dispatch orders, handle inbound inventory, perform cycle counts and maintain documentation.

Ideal candidate is physically fit, holds a current forklift licence, can follow instructions, communicate well, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. We offer a competitive rate, staff benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Physically fit with ability to lift up to 25kg.
• Forklift licence current and valid.
• Experience with Gantry Crane beneficial (not required).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders.
• Handle inbound inventory including receiving, quality checking, and stock put-away.
• Support inventory management through cycle counts and stock adjustments.
• Complete required documentation and system updates.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
