Job summary

Auckland University of Technology (AUT) invites applications for a part-time Peer Advisor based at AUT’s City Campus. You will deliver comprehensive advice and information to prospective students, applicants, current students and visitors, helping them navigate enrolment and the student journey.

You will handle enquiries across multiple channels, ensure accurate knowledge of AUT products and services, and contribute to a positive student experience through a welcoming, professional service.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at AUT (undergraduate or postgraduate level).
• Experience or knowledge of AUT Student Services.
• This role is considered a children\'s worker and will be subject to safety checking.

• Enquiry Management: Meeting or exceeding customer expectations; ensuring prompt accurate and responsive advice and support for both internal and external customer queries covering.
• Knowledge and information: Comprehensive knowledge of AUT products, services and administrative systems covering all queries across multiple customer enquiry channels

As a Peer advisor, you'll play a key role in delivering comprehensive advice and information to prospective students, applicants, current students and visitors. The Peer Advisor ensures a consistent and positive AUT experience is provided through a variety of channels, contributing to the University’s growth and reputation as a University of Choice. This is a part-time role based at AUT’s City Campus.

This is a fixed-term, part-time role reporting to the Senior manager of Transition and Retention Team

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Currently enrolled at AUT (undergraduate or postgraduate level).
• Have experience or knowledge of AUT Student Services
• This role is considered a children's worker and will be subject to safety checking as part of the Children's Act 2014.

• Salary Ranges | Ngā Utu: $59,000 - $60,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
