Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Technical Specialist to provide expert payroll system configuration, testing, and assurance. Based in Tauranga, you will translate legislative and collective agreement changes into accurate configurations, support audit readiness, and work with vendors to implement enhancements.

You will apply 5+ years of payroll experience in a large environment, with deep knowledge of Holidays Act 2003, Wages Protection Act, parental leave, and KiwiSaver

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience in a large, complex environment.
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand payroll legislation including Holidays Act 2003, Wages Protection Act, Parental Leave, KiwiSaver.

Responsabilités

• Configure payroll system changes and test scripts to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with Holidays Act, tax requirements and payroll legislation.
• Provide technical training and guidance to payroll teams and document QA processes.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve payroll processes.
