Job summary

Sime Darby Transport (NZ) Ltd (TWL in Tauranga) is hiring a Parts Junior to support our truck and trailer brands. You will build customer relationships, handle inquiries and orders, and help keep displays neat while learning the trade on the shop floor.

Join the MITO two-year training programme that leads to a National Certificate in Automotive Parts & Accessories (Level 3). You’ll experience pay progression as you earn credits, with a clear path to becoming a Customer Service Rep.

Responsibilities

Join our team at Transport Wholesale Ltd (TWL) in Tauranga as a Parts Junior, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our leading truck and trailer brand while kickstarting your career in the transport industry!

Reporting to the Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Building customer relations to make our Branch the go-to supplier for all things truck & trailer
• Managing customer inquiries and orders via phone, email, web, and face-to-face at the counter
• Keeping product displays organized to enhance counter sales
• Checking off incoming goods and putting them away
• Supporting warehouse tasks as needed, including picking and packing orders, and checking in new stock

You will engage in a two-year MITO training programme that leads to a National Certificate in Automotive Parts & Accessories (Level 3), along with pay increases as you earn credits. Upon completion, your title will change to Customer Service Rep.
