Job summary

Sime Darby Transport (NZ) Ltd is seeking a Parts Junior to support our Transport Wholesale Ltd (TWL) branch in Tauranga. You will help build relationships with customers, handle inquiries and orders, and keep stock and displays organized as part of a training pathway.

This two-year MITO training programme leads to a National Certificate in Automotive Parts & Accessories (Level 3), with pay increases as you earn credits and a pathway to become a Customer Service Rep.

• Proficiency with computer systems.
• Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relations to make the Branch the go-to supplier for truck and trailer parts.
• Manage customer inquiries and orders via phone, email, web, and in person at the counter.
• Keep product displays organized to support counter sales.
• Check in incoming goods and put them away.
• Support warehouse tasks including picking/packing orders and stock checks.

Join our team at Transport Wholesale Ltd (TWL) in Tauranga as a Parts Junior, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our leading truck and trailer brand while kickstarting your career in the transport industry! Reporting to the Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Building customer relations to make our Branch the go-to supplier for all things truck & trailer
• Managing customer inquiries and orders via phone, email, web, and face-to-face at the counter
• Keeping product displays organized to enhance counter sales
• Checking off incoming goods and putting them away
• Supporting warehouse tasks as needed, including picking and packing orders, and checking in new stock
