Job summary

Sime Darby Transport (NZ) Ltd TWL in Palmerston North is seeking an enthusiastic all-rounder to join our team. You’ll handle front counter service and stores operations, acting as the face of TWL to customers while ensuring smooth behind-the-scenes processes.

Requirements include experience in automotive or heavy transport parts (preferred), strong communication, attention to detail, and a can-do attitude. Forklift experience is a bonus.

• Processing sales and preparing required documentation and invoicing.
• Supporting stocktakes and cyclic counts.
• Ensuring excellent customer service and safe work practices.

About the Role

Reporting to the Branch Manager, as a key member of our Palmerston North branch, you’ll be involved in both front counter service and stores operations. You’ll be the face of TWL to our customers while also keeping things humming behind the scenes.

Your responsibilities

• Serving customers in person, by phone, and online
• Picking, packing, and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently
• Receiving goods, data entry into inventory system, and stock control
• Maintaining tidy, well-presented product displays
• Processing sales and preparing required documentation and invoicing
• Supporting stocktakes and cyclic counts
• Ensuring excellent customer service and safe work practices
