Job summary

Avis Budget Group International in Tauranga is hiring a Rental Operations Agent for a part-time 20-hour week. The role blends front-line customer service with back-of-house tasks, including rental processing and fleet checks.

You will drive, inspect, and clean vehicles, and work within a team during varied shifts across our operating hours. Training is provided for all required systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver's licence requirement.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or similar.
• Ability to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable using multiple computer systems to input rental information (training provided).
• Ability to follow procedures and company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the counter with rentals, contracts and bookings.
• Inspect vehicles for damages and maintenance, drive and park vehicles.
• Clean interiors and exteriors in the wash bay.
• Operate during airport hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
