Avis Budget Group is seeking a Rental Operations Agent at Nelson Airport for a part-time, permanent role. You will handle front- and back-of-house tasks, interact with customers, process rentals, and maintain vehicles. Training will be provided to support your success.

This 24-hours-per-week position includes uniform and parking, wellbeing benefits, and employee discounts across Avis Budget Group brands. Ideal candidates have a customer-service orientation and a valid Class 1 driver's licence.

Qualifications

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential.
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems (training provided).
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers at the counter and promote products and services.
• Complete rental transactions, contracts, and bookings.
• Inspect vehicles for damages and maintenance issues.
• Drive, park, and clean vehicles to readiness for customers.
