Oaks Wellington Hotel is seeking an enthusiastic Kitchen Attendant to support kitchen operations on a part-time basis in Wellington, New Zealand. You will keep areas clean, assist with food preparation, and support cooks to deliver high-quality meals to guests.

The successful candidate will have at least 12 months of kitchen or hospitality experience, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and maintain professional presentation and strong customer service.

Competenze

• 12 months+ experience in a similar kitchen or hospitality role
• Friendly, positive attitude with professional presentation
• Experience providing quality customer service
• Reliable, proactive and able to work with urgency
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Mansioni

• Ensure cleanliness and sanitisation of all kitchen areas and equipment
• Operate, maintain and clean kitchen equipment to safety standards
• Assist Cooks with assembly and preparation of ingredients
• Provide general support to the kitchen team for smooth daily operations
• Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and regulatory requirements
• Support stock control and organisation of kitchen supplies
