Job summary

Oaks Wellington Hotel in Wellington, New Zealand, is seeking a friendly Guest Experience Attendant to join our team on a part-time basis. You will support Front Office and Food & Beverage, ensuring guests feel welcome from check-in to check-out, and assist with service in our café and bar.

The role offers a rotating Monday–Sunday roster with a minimum 24 hours per week and pay of 25 NZD per hour. Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, strong communication, and a passion for memorable

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience across Front Office and F&B would be beneficial.
• Strong communication and a positive, adaptable attitude.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests on arrival and assist with check-ins/check-outs.
• Assist with food and beverage service in our café, bar, or in-room dining.
• Provide local recommendations and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Deliver orders, clear tables, and maintain cleanliness of the F&B area.
• Set up and pack down breakfast or function areas as required.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure guest needs are met.
• Process payments accurately and maintain up-to-date guest records.
