Job summary

HealthCare New Zealand currently seeks an experienced Support Worker for Rangiora. You will help clients live independently at home and in the community, following care plans and providing practical and emotional support.

Key tasks include meal prep, medication administration, personal care, and occasional home management. A Level 3/4 health qualification and a valid NZ driver’s licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or caregiving preferred.
• Must be able to follow a care plan and provide both practical and emotional support.
• Level 3 or 4 health care qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients to live as independently as possible at home and in the community.
• Provide meal preparation, medication assistance and personal cares as required.
• Support home management and accompany clients on outings.
• Follow care plans and document care performed.
