Job summary

HealthCare NZ in Hamilton is seeking an empathetic Support Worker to help clients achieve their goals through practical and emotional support. You’ll assist with daily living activities, meal prep, and community outings, working in home care and community settings.

Applicants should have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and flexibility to work alternate weekends. Full NZ driver's licence and reliable transport are preferred. Police vetting will be required.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare or caregiving experience preferred but not essential.
• Full NZ driver’s licence and reliable transport are required for most roles.
• Must have the right to work in New Zealand and be willing to undergo police vetting.
• Great communication skills and ability to work alternate weekends.
