Job summary

The University of Otago is seeking a part-time Clinic Administrator for Student Health Services in Ōtepoti/Dunedin. You will provide reception support, register patients, and book appointments for students and clinicians, while handling referrals and confidential records.

Ideal candidates will have health sector experience, strong computing skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team. The role includes pro-rata salary and adherence to NZ work rights.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a busy, complex environment requiring discretion and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the health sector is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of patient management systems (Medtech Evolution or similar).
• Able to manage multiple priorities with urgency.
• Proven computing skills across common software.

Responsibilities

• Provide reception services.
• Register patients and update information.
• Book appointments for students and clinicians.
