Job summary

Pinnacle invites applications for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team in Hamilton. This permanent, part-time role is 20 hours per week and based at our central Hamilton office.

You will manage supplier invoices and creditor payments, maintain data integrity in our finance systems, and support the team with process improvements and ad-hoc tasks. The ideal candidate values accuracy, timeliness and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable or a similar financial environment preferred.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft 365 suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with TechnologyOne/FinanceOne would be an advantage.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Applicants must have current right to live and work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and manage creditor payments.
• Maintain data integrity within finance systems.
• Perform transaction reconciliations and expense coding.
• Provide ad-hoc support to the finance team and assist process improvements.
