Hato Hone St John is recruiting a qualified Paramedic to join our team in Taranaki. This is a permanent position, working a roster based at Hawera Station.

We seek an experienced Paramedic who can integrate smoothly with both paid and volunteer staff and deliver high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive demeanour, willingness to contribute to station portfolios, and a commitment to clinical excellence in line with Do the right thing, Side by Side, Straight

Qualifications

  • Current St John Authority to Practice at Paramedic level.
  • Current Registration and APC from Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council.
  • Excellent operational and clinical performance to date.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
  • A genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • CCE evidence.
  • Demonstrated behaviours aligned with Hato Hone St John’s core values.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of care to patients.

We are currently recruiting for a qualified Paramedic to join ourteam in Taranaki!

This is a permanent position, working a DDDD roster based at Hawera Station

We are looking for an experienced Paramedic who is adaptable and can settle into our team with ease, work alongside both paid and volunteer staff and provide a high level of care to our patients. The ideal applicants would have a positive demeanour, willingness to contribute to station portfolios, and champion clinical excellence.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A current St John Authority to Practice at Paramedic level
  • Current Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) from Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council
  • Excellent operational and clinical performance to date
  • Excellent driving record
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
  • A genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Evidence of CCE
  • Demonstrated behaviours that align with Hato Hone St John's core values -Do the right thing (Mahi Tika), Side by Side (Tū Tahi), Straight Up (Mahi Pono), Make it better (Whakapai Ake), Open Minds (Whakaaro Nui)
