Hato Hone St John in Whakatāne is seeking a qualified Paramedic to join our team on a permanent basis. The role operates on a 4 x 4 DDNN roster, averaging 42 hours per week, and involves working with both paid and volunteer staff to provide high-quality care.
The ideal candidate holds a current St John Authority to Practice at Paramedic level, registration and APC, and demonstrates strong clinical and interpersonal skills, plus the ability to work under pressure.

We are looking for an experienced Paramedic who is adaptable and can settle into our team with ease, work alongside both paid and volunteer staff and provide a high level of care to our patients. The ideal applicants would have a positive demeanour, willingness to contribute to station portfolios, and champion clinical excellence.
