Job summary

Hato Hone St John in Palmerston North is seeking a qualified and experienced Critical Care Paramedic to join our team in Mid Central. This permanent relief role operates a 4 x 4 DDNN relief shift pattern with the base at Palmerston North, and may provide relief for the Wanganui Station when required.

Applicants must hold a St John Authority to Practice at Critical Care Paramedic level, current registration with the Paramedic Council APC, and demonstrate outstanding clinical and operational

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care paramedic services with a focus on patient care in Mid Central.
• Relief for CCP seats and occasional ambulance rostering as required.

• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth operational handovers.

We have an opportunity for a qualified and experienced Critical Care Paramedic to join our team in Mid Central!

This is a permanent relief position, working 4 x 4 DDNN relief shift pattern. The base station for this position is Palmerston North and when required will provide relief for Wanganui Station.

Please note that when not covering a CCP seat this position will be normally rostered to an Ambulance.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current St John Authority to Practice at Critical Care Paramedic level
• Current Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) from Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council
• Excellent operational and clinical performance to date
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
• A genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others
• The ability to work under pressure
