Bidfood Waipapa is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our warehouse, dispatch, and distribution activities. This hands-on leadership role focuses on building high-performing teams and driving continuous improvement to deliver outstanding customer service.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will optimize systems, supervise staff, manage safety and food safety compliance, and work closely with sales and procurement to meet branch objectives.

Bidfood Waipapa is looking for an experienced, driven, and people-focused Operations Manager to lead our warehouse, dispatch, and distribution operations.

This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building high-performing teams, and has a passion for continuous improvement. Working closely with the General Manager and HOD team, you'll be responsible for ensuring our operation runs safely, efficiently, and consistently delivers outstanding service to our customers.

About the Role

As Operations Manager, you will oversee all warehouse and distribution activities across the branch 24/6. Your focus will be on leading teams, improving systems and processes, driving operational performance, and ensuring our customers receive the high level of service Bidfood is known for.

This is a hands-on leadership position that requires strong operational knowledge, excellent people leadership skills, and the ability to balance customer expectations with operational efficiency.

• Proven leadership experience in warehousing, logistics, transport, distribution, or supply chain operations.
