About the Role
As our Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational functions, managing workforce planning, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You will work closely with the General Manager and other stakeholders to deliver strategic business outcomes while maintaining high service quality across allocated sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage operational teams to maximize efficiency and performance.
Develop and implement operational strategies to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with OHS standards, conducting audits and leading incident investigations.
Manage resource allocation, staffing, and training programs.
Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues, ensuring swift resolution.
Monitor KPIs, budgets, and cost controls to achieve business goals.
Collaborate with internal teams on tenders, bids, and strategic planning initiatives.
About You
Sound knowledge of operational health, safety, and environmental compliance frameworks.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior operations or management role, preferably in a similar industry.
Strong commercial acumen and expertise in business operations, cost control, and profit drivers.
Advanced leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in strategic planning, process improvement, and change management.
